IShowSpeed Faces YouTube Ban After Mercedes Crashes into Another Creator’s Car

Popular YouTuber IShowSpeed may face a ban from the platform after being involved in a car accident while riding in a Mercedes with a fan and performing donuts.

For more than a year now, IShowSpeed has been dominating YouTube with his captivating IRL streams, showcasing his travels around the globe and creating engaging content.

Aside from supporting Ronaldo at soccer games, he has caused a stir in 2024 by attempting to livestream in North Korea, performing backflips in a KFC with someone impersonating Peter Griffin, and even getting RKO’d by Randy Orton at WrestleMania.

On June 28, while in Belgium, Speed got into a car with a fan who proceeded to do donuts in a parking lot.

As soon as it happened, Speed began to panic, exclaiming “oh sh*t”as the car spun out of control. Unfortunately, the situation took a turn for the worse when the Mercedes collided with another car’s front bumper.

After exiting the ride, he yelled, “What the f**k!”while visibly shaken. Both cars had sustained some damage.

To add insult to injury, the vehicle that was struck was owned by fellow YouTuber Celine Dept, renowned for creating content centered on sports and football.

Fortunately for Speed, Dept was extremely understanding and recognized that the accident was not caused by Speed. Nevertheless, YouTube may potentially issue a ban to the streamer due to the content.

According to the platform’s policy on harmful or dangerous content, YouTube does not permit adults to engage in acts that pose a serious risk of harm or death.

Similarly, other platforms also have comparable policies. In June, StableRonaldo received a suspension from Twitch for driving recklessly on a busy road.

Even if they are not the ones responsible, creators can still face consequences and be banned. For example, well-known streamer N3on received a one-day ban after being involved in a hit-and-run incident with notorious street racer Squeeze Benz.

Despite the incident, Speed’s channel remains active. It is uncertain if YouTube will consider the crash significant enough to result in a suspension.
