Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 262 part 2: Inumaki helps Yuta against Sukuna in a convoluting way

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 262 part 2: Inumaki helps Yuta against Sukuna in a convoluting way

The second part of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 262 was released as a continuation of the previous chapter due to Gege Akutami’s health issues. It focused on the ongoing battle between Yuta and Sukuna, but surprisingly did not reveal any new information about the fully manifested Rikka.

Part 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 262 featured an unexpected assist from Inumaki, even though he was not physically present on the battlefield. This only added to the already perplexing nature of his cursed technique. The highlight of the chapter was Yuta’s use of the Hollow Purple cursed technique, which was focused on Sukuna and hinted at the potential for significant damage to the King of Curses.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 262 Part 2: The Battle Continues

The title of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 262 part 2, “Inhuman Makyo Shinjuku Showdown, Part 34,”remained the same as the previous chapter. The chapter opened with Sukuna and Yuta still engaged in their battle within the domain, following Sukuna’s punch in chapter 262 part 1.

Yuta came to the realization that after he switched bodies with Gojo, Rika was not by his side. This meant that his only technique available was Limitless, as all the other cursed techniques he had obtained were through Rika. Additionally, he concluded that Sukuna was unable to activate his cursed technique due to only having three hands. This left the antagonist with no choice but to use Domain Amplification.

After attempting to punch Sukuna, Yuta noticed that he did not land a direct hit. This served as a reminder of Gojo’s incredibly long limbs and the impossibility of adapting to them in just one training session. Sukuna, meanwhile, grew suspicious of Yuta’s actions.

Sukuna was notified by Kenjaku beforehand about Yuta’s cursed technique, causing the King of Curses to understand that Rika was not present with Yuta following his body swap with Gojo. Sukuna thus deduced that Yuta would only be able to utilize Limitless in Gojo’s body due to Rika’s absence and contemplated the potential outcome if Kenjaku’s cursed technique were to dissipate.

As he pondered various thoughts, the King of Curses recalled the final move Gojo Satoru had used before his death. He surmised that Yuta may also intend to employ the same cursed technique, Hollow Purple. Just as Yuta began to chant for the technique, Sukuna swiftly intervened and prevented him from forming the necessary hand signs.

Yuta surprised the King of Curses by throwing a recorder phone he had obtained at a discounted price from Lapse Blue on Sukuna. To the King’s confusion, the recorder phone suddenly spoke, commanding him to stay still. The focus then shifted to Inumaki, who was standing outside the cursed domain and coughing up blood in chapter 262 part 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen.

Sukuna came to the realization that the technique being used was not a mere copy of Yuta’s, but the authentic cursed speech technique. Despite Sukuna’s temporary pause, Yuta successfully finished his chant for Hollow Purple and was prepared to unleash it upon the ultimate antagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen at any moment.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 262 Part 2: In Summation

Despite being the continuation of the previous chapter, this section was filled to the brim with valuable information, particularly regarding Inumaki’s cursed technique. Interestingly, Sukuna was likely to encounter the same move that had previously inflicted serious harm on him during the final stage of his battle against Gojo Satoru.

Despite his inability to use the world-cutting slash, it will be intriguing to witness the unfolding events from this point onward, as we have seen in the past. Luckily, the manga has resumed its weekly release schedule after a three-week hiatus and the upcoming chapter will be featured in Shueisha’s Weekly Shounen Jump issue 36.
