Kai Cenat, a popular Twitch streamer, strongly criticized a viewer who compared his attendance at North West’s 11th birthday party to Dr Disrespect’s inappropriate communication with a minor.
On June 15, Kai Cenat joined North West, the daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, to commemorate her birthday. During their time together, they engaged in playful activities such as interviewing passersby on the street and playing ‘ding dong ditch’ in their hotel with Mariah Carey.
Despite a small number of fans giving Kai a skeptical look for hanging out with a child at his current stage in life, he is defending himself as the news regarding fellow streamer Dr Disrespect dominates the online world.
Kai Cenat met North West for her 11th birthday, as he’s her “favorite streamer.”
On Twitter/X, a viewer drew a comparison between Kai spending time with North and Dr Disrespect’s admission of messaging a minor through Twitch’s Whispers feature. Kai was displeased with the analogy.
“During a June 25 broadcast, the streamer recounted a comment made by someone after unfollowing Dr Disrespect. According to the streamer, the person had said, “He was just hanging out with a girl in middle school, North. He has no right to talk about this matter,”using vulgar language.
“He elaborated, “Your way of thinking indicates a problem, perhaps mentally. In my opinion, the app is problematic. I personally do not enjoy using Twitter because it often turns into a platform for spreading hate.”

This isn’t the initial instance where Kai has been forced to justify his actions after attending North’s birthday celebration. The day after the party, Kai took the opportunity to address those who labeled him as “strange”during a live stream.
“To all those who made yesterday an unusual day, I have something to say. I happen to be North’s favorite streamer and all she wanted was to meet me. That was her sole request for the day.”

Kai has recently commented on the controversy that has surrounded the streaming community since Dr Disrespect revealed that he was banned from Twitch in 2020 for using the platform’s Whispers feature to message a minor.
Despite Doc’s insistence that the messages were simply “informal, mutual discussions that occasionally veered into inappropriate territory,”several of his fellow broadcasters have publicly denounced him on various social media platforms.
During a June 25 stream, Kai Cenat decided to unfollow Dr Disrespect upon learning the news. In a sarcastic tone, he encouraged Dr Disrespect to take the break he had previously planned, following the latter’s admission to the messages in a tweet that has quickly spread across the internet.
