Kaiju No.8 Season 2 Plot
Following the conclusion of season 1, Shinomiya Kikoru was reassigned to the First Division of the Defence Forces, known as the most formidable division. In this division, Kikoru serves under the leadership of Captain Narumi and alongside other skilled soldiers, all of whom can unleash at least 40% of their combat capabilities.
Shinomiya realizes that she is no longer as exceptional as she once was in the third division. This realization motivates her to push herself even harder, determined to no longer rely on others for protection.
At this time, the Defense Forces headquarters makes the decision to assign Hibino Kafka to the First Division in order to bolster the Division’s strength as a response to the growing occurrence of Kaijuu spawns.
During their initial mission as a team, the First Division must confront Kaiju No.9, a formidable opponent who seeks to eliminate Kaiju No.8 and gain control of the powerful Kaiju force.
