On Monday, July 8, 2024, at 10:30 pm JST, viewers can tune in to Tokyo MX and AT-X to watch the highly anticipated first episode of Mayonaka Punch. The series will also be broadcasted on BS11, KBS, and other networks after its initial release. For international fans, the anime will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll.

Mayonaka Punch, a new original anime series, is currently in production by P.A. Works and Kadokawa Corporation. Along with the television adaptation, a manga and light novel are also being developed. The manga is being illustrated by Tomomi Usui, who is renowned for his work on Kami to Yobareta Otaku and Rule: Shoumetsu Kyoushitsu.

What to expect from Mayonaka Punch?

Masaki, a member of the Harakiri Sisters, a popular group on NewTube, will be joined by Mayonaka Punch. But their time together will be brief, as Mayonaka Punch will be removed from the group after a controversial live event that receives backlash from the online community.

Despite facing this setback, Masaki remains determined to rebuild her career and sets her sights on gaining one million subscribers for her channel, Mayonaka Punch. As she embarks on her journey, she unexpectedly meets an extraordinary individual and makes a surprising agreement that could potentially alter her life.

In the first episode of Mayonaka Punch, viewers will be introduced to Masaki’s new companion, a vampire named Live, as shown in the previews.

Mayonaka Punch’s first episode will introduce viewers to some of its feature voice actors, including Fairouz Ali as Live, Ikumi Hasegawa as Masaki, Ai Kayano as Yuki, Hina Yomiya as Fu, Hitomi Ueda as Tokage, and Yuina Ito as Ichiko. Additionally, Chika Anzai and Reina Kondo will lend their voices to the characters Kikka and Otomi.

P.A. Works is producing the anime, directed by Shu Honma. Hideaki Shirasaka is responsible for series composition, while Tsukasa Kotobuki is the original character designer. Yuki Maeda is the art director and Yūta Fujii is in charge of art setting. Kayoko Nabeta is the main animator, with Masami Gohda, Ryota Arima, and Sanae Sato serving as chief animation directors.

The team also consists of Ayumu Takahashi as the editor, Junya Kodama as the photography director, and Asami Eguchi as the color designer. The music production is handled by Heart Company, with Satoki Iida serving as the sound director.

The cast members will perform the theme songs Gimme Gimme and Henshuu-ten.
