On June 27, Min Hee-jin shared a Polaroid photo on her social media featuring herself and the five members of NewJeans. Fans were immediately drawn to Min Hee-jin’s radiant smile as she stood among the group, giving off a warm and welcoming family vibe.
Additionally, she caught the public’s eye by sharing pictures of her alongside Tony Leung, Rina Sawayama, and Takashi Murakami. In July of last year, Tony Leung made a brief appearance in NewJeans’ music video for “Cool With You.”It is speculated that their connection led to his attendance at NewJeans’ performance at Tokyo Dome. She also snapped friendly photos with Japanese singer-songwriter Rina Sawayama and singer Takashi Murakami.
In April, Min Hee-jin experienced a crisis within HYBE due to an internal dispute. However, thanks to a court decision granting her request for a provisional injunction against HYBE, Min Hee-jin was able to prevent the exercise of voting rights and NewJeans is currently operating without any issues.
Despite the crisis that had erupted, Min Hee-jin maintained her position and held a press conference, which led to an outpouring of public support. Even Japanese netizens showed their support as Min Hee-jin made an appearance at a pop-up store in Shibuya, Tokyo on June 21st to celebrate NewJeans’ Japanese debut single “Supernatural.”She warmly posed for photos with fans, garnering attention from those in attendance.
In the meantime, NewJeans made a significant achievement just five days after their debut in Japan. They proceeded with their “Bunnies Camp 2024 Tokyo Dome”fan meeting at Tokyo Dome today (27th), following the one held on the 26th.
