The girl made a dramatic entrance by smashing through the door with her ateliers, causing debris to hit some of the students in the front rows. Despite this, the class still welcomed her.
Her given name was Shikanoko, but she was better known as Nokotan. Despite this, Torako couldn’t understand why the class was accepting someone like her. Nokotan sat beside Torako and expressed her gratitude for being rescued. Torako decided to forgive and forget, but Nokotan once again labeled her as a troublemaker, causing the class to doubt Torako’s character.
Torako observed Nokotan cleaning an abandoned gym room after recess and decided to join in. Once they finished cleaning, their homeroom teacher entered the room and announced that it would now be used as the Deer Club. Torako was assigned as the club president and her main responsibility was to care for the deer, including Nokotan.
