Crocus, who was once a member of the famous Roger Pirates, now serves as the lighthouse keeper at Twin Cape, a place located at the base of Reverse Mountain. He also lovingly looks after Laboon, a whale that was once companions with the Rumbar Pirates.

The Straw Hats arrived at Twin Cape, with the goal of reaching the Grand Line through the access located in Reverse Mountain. While there, Crocus shared Laboon’s tragic past with them and Luffy made a promise to the whale that he would return to visit her once their journey was complete.

After observing Luffy’s actions, Crocus couldn’t help but notice the striking resemblance between the young pirate and his former captain, Gol D. Roger. In a gesture of kindness, he provided the Straw Hats with a Log Pose to aid them in their journey through the Grand Line.

The two Giants, Dorry “The Blue Ogre” and Brogy “The Red Ogre,” both hailing from Elbaf, hold the positions of captains within the Giant Warrior Pirates. Approximately one hundred years prior to the current storytelling, an insignificant disagreement arose between the two. In order to defend their honor and prove their respective beliefs, the Giants agreed to settle the matter through a duel on the isle of Little Garden.

Despite Dorry and Brogy’s century-long battle, neither was able to emerge as the victor. However, the constant confrontation was disrupted by the interference of Baroque Works. In an attempt to pit Dorry and Brogy against each other, Mr. 3 of the organization plotted, but the Straw Hat Pirates were able to foil his scheme.

During their time on Little Garden, Usopp was particularly in awe of Dorry and Brogy. He held great admiration for their physical prowess, courage, and code of honor. Despite their ongoing rivalry, the two Giants always maintained a deep respect for one another.

Upon reaching the end of the arc, Dorry and Brogy demonstrated their immense strength by obliterating the Island Eater, a colossal goldfish. As the beast prepared to consume the Straw Hat crew’s vessel, the Going Merry, Dorry and Brogy swiftly defeated it with a powerful joint attack, enabling their new companions to safely continue their voyage.
