On June 28th, JYP Entertainment, the agency of NMIXX, issued a statement on their official account stating that Haewon had sustained a minor back injury during practice this week. She was taken to the hospital for a thorough examination following the incident.
The agency reassured that Haewon’s daily life will not be impacted by the injury, but advised her to limit excessive movements based on recommendations from medical professionals. As a result, the decision was made for the female idol to decrease her physical activity and prioritize treatment for the time being.
The agency stated that Haewon will be seated during the upcoming performances at the 2024 First Half Special ‘Show! Music Core in JAPAN’ on June 29th and 30th. The artist’s well-being is our main concern and we will make every effort to aid in Haewon’s speedy recovery.
The event “Show! Music Core in JAPAN”by MBC is scheduled to occur on June 29th and 30th at Belluna Dome in Japan.
During the past year, NMIXX, the group in which Haewon is a member, successfully concluded their first fanconcert “NMIXX CHANGE UP: MIXX UNIVERSITY”with a total of 8 shows held in 4 different regions. These shows took place in Seoul on October 7th and 8th, Hong Kong on January 6th and 7th, Taipei on May 18th and 19th, and Macau on June 22nd.
