Plus-Sized Elf: Episode 2 Release Date and Where to Watch

The second episode of Plus-Sized Elf is scheduled to debut on July 14, 2024, at 1:30 am JST on TOKYO MX, BS11, and AT-X. HIDIVE will also offer streaming options for international viewers.

The anime version of The Plus-Sized Elf follows the story of the popular Japanese manga series of the same name, written by Synecdoche. In the first episode, viewers were introduced to the three main characters: Naoe, Elfuda, and Ino. After being negatively influenced by the human world, Elfuda sought assistance to regain her previous shape. Unfortunately, the aid she received proved to be ineffective in the end.

The second episode of Plus-Sized Elf is set to premiere at 1:30 am JST on Sunday, July 14, 2024, during the summer 2024 anime season. It is worth mentioning that in some areas, this will still be considered as Saturday. The release date and time for each major time zone are as follows:

Recap of Episode 1 of Plus-Sized Elf

In the last installment, Tomoatsu Naoe, a staff member at the Smiley BOAR Massage Relaxation Center, was introduced as he worked under his superior, Akiho Ino.

Despite Ino’s suggestion to go for a drink, Naoe politely declined due to his knowledge of Ino’s tendency to drink excessively and become overly friendly. However, their plans were interrupted when a client arrived for the Diet and Bodywork Therapy program. The client, Elfuda, was dressed in a tracksuit, mask, sunglasses, and a beanie, which made Ino feel uneasy. As a result, he asked Naoe to take care of the client.

Naoe’s curiosity was piqued by Elfuda’s emerald eyes, prominent ears, and unique name, causing him to wonder if she was possibly an elf. On the contrary, Elfuda voiced worry about her recent weight gain, revealing that she was unable to return to the Kafar forests in her current state.

During the therapy session, Elfuda’s beanie fell off and exposed her pointed ears, confirming her identity as an elf. She went on to tell Naoe that she had entered this world through a portal from a different dimension. In her own world, basic necessities like salt and pepper were considered luxuries.

Despite the tempting and delicious food in this world, she couldn’t resist overeating and gaining weight. In order to return to her own world, she had to shed some pounds and regain her original shape.

With the assistance of Naoe, Elfuda embarked on her weight loss journey. She was seen by viewers jogging and shadowboxing during her workout. However, when she attempted to grab a pack of French fries afterwards, Naoe intervened to remind her of the importance of maintaining a calorie deficit. To aid in boosting her metabolism, Ino accompanied her to a hot bath. After the bath, Elfuda felt thirsty and attempted to reach for a soda, but Naoe was vigilant and prevented her from doing so.

One month later, Elfuda had regained her original figure. She expressed her gratitude to Naoe for his support and headed back to her own home. Sometime later, Naoe happened to stop by a fast food establishment and was taken aback to see Elfuda happily munching on French fries. Her triumphant weight loss experience had instilled in her the belief that she could always shed pounds when needed.

Anticipated Plot for Plus-Sized Elf episode 2

Despite much anticipation, information about episode 2 of Plus-Sized Elf has not yet been revealed. However, viewers can look forward to the introduction of a new character, Kuroeda, in the upcoming episode. This dark elf has already been seen in the previous episode, working at a fast food restaurant. It will be intriguing to see what kind of assistance she may seek from Naoe.
