Pokemon Go trainers worldwide are eagerly anticipating the upcoming Go Fest 2024, but first, a new event is on the horizon.
At Aquatic Paradise, Water-type species are the focus, providing players with the opportunity to catch beloved Pokemon and even a newly discovered shiny variant.
Dates
The Aquatic Paradise event is scheduled to take place from Saturday, July 6, at 10 AM until Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 8 PM (local time).
During the dates of July 5 to July 7, players who attend the in-person Pokemon Go Fest 2024 in New York will have the opportunity to experience extra bonuses and encounters.

During this event, keep an eye out for the global debut of Shiny Ducklett, as all listed species have the potential to be shiny.
Field & Timed Research
Participants who spin PokeStops during the event will receive specialized Field Research tasks, which will reward them with extra opportunities to encounter Corphish, Clamperl, Finneon, and Frillish upon completion.
Furthermore, a Timed Research will be offered for the price of US$1.99 (or the corresponding pricing tier in your country’s currency). This Research will center on discovering and capturing Pokemon, and participants will receive extra opportunities to encounter Ducklett, as well as 4 Lucky Eggs, 2 Incenses, and 20 Ducklett Candy.

Event bonuses
- There is a higher likelihood of encountering event Pokemon while using Incense.
- Players will receive double XP for catching Pokemon.

Aquatic Paradise Collection Challenge
The upcoming event will also introduce a Collection Challenge for players to complete, which will grant them additional encounters with select Pokemon as well as other rewards.
