Coming from Ultra Space, there will be challenging Raids for trainers to take on, as well as new Timed Research, backgrounds, and other exciting additions.
Dates
The event is scheduled to take place from Monday, July 8 at 10 AM to Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10 AM (based on local time).
The 2024 Pokemon Go Fest Global event is set to begin at 10 AM (local time) on Saturday, July 13, 2024, allowing players to challenge a greater number of Ultra Beasts and formidable creatures in Raids.

Pokemon Go players should keep an eye out for species marked with (*), as they have the potential to be shiny.
During the event, players can look forward to Raid Hours every day. This time slot, typically between 6 PM and 7 PM in their local time, will see most Gyms hosting Raids.
Furthermore, a selection of these Pokemon will also showcase never-before-seen Special Backgrounds on their summary page after being captured. This feature is comparable to the unique Legendaries obtainable at real-life gatherings.
Event Bonuses
- The limit for Remote Raid Passes will be raised to 20 between Monday, July 8 and Thursday, July 11, 2024.
- During the weekend of July 12-14, 2024, players will have unlimited access to Remote Raids with no restrictions.
- Trainers who have reached level 31 or higher can expect to receive Candy XL for trading Pokemon during the time period of Friday, July 8th at 10 AM until Sunday, July 14th, 2024 at 11:59 PM (local time).
Special Backgrounds will become available for players all around the world.
New Timed Research
During the event, players will have the opportunity to receive a new Raid-themed Timed Research that can grant them extra encounters with Ultra Beasts. However, any Pokemon caught through this method will not have a Special Background.

Inbound from Ultra Space Ticket
Trainers can access a Timed Research and additional bonuses for the equivalent pricing tier in their local currency, which is $5.00 USD.
- Receive an extra 5,000 XP upon completing Raids.
- Players will receive 2 times the amount of Stardust when they successfully win an Ultra Beast Raid Battle.
- Players will receive an extra Candy for every Pokemon caught in 5-star Raids.
- Players will receive 1 extra Candy XL for successfully catching Pokemon in 5-star Raids.
- You can receive up to 2 free Raid Passes by spinning the Photo Discs at Gyms.
The paid Timed Research also offers Candy XL for Cosmog, Nihilego, Buzzwole, Pheromosa, Xurkitree, Celesteela, Kartana, Guzzlord, Stakataka, and Blacephalon.
The ticket for Inbound from Ultra Space will be on sale from Monday, July 8 at 10 AM until Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 6 PM (local time). After that, you will have until 8 PM (local time) on Sunday, July 14, 2024 to complete all tasks and receive all rewards.
Global Challenge
During the period of Sunday, July 7, at 4 PM PDT / 7 PM ET / 12 AM BST (July 8) to Friday, July 12, 2024, at 12 PM PDT / 3 PM ET / 8 PM BST, trainers will have the opportunity to participate in a fresh Global Challenge.
According to the official blog, if the challenge is successfully completed before the deadline, all trainers will be granted the ability to use Beast Balls when encountering Ultra Beasts at Pokemon Go Fest 2024: Global.
