In Modern Warfare 3, using shotguns is highly effective for close-range combat. By equipping the top Haymaker loadout, you can effortlessly take down enemies.
Just like the Origin 12 featured in MW 2019, this semi-automatic Shotgun is designed to fire rapidly and becomes even more powerful when equipped with a Conversion Kit. In order to fully utilize its potential, here are all the recommended attachments, Perks, and Equipment.
Recommended Attachments for the MW3 Haymaker

The XTEN Modified Choke decreases the spread of pellets, hipfire, and Tac Stance, and increases the gun’s damage range. When paired with the XRK Edge BW-4 Handstop, the gun’s movement, sprint to fire, ADS, and aim walking speed are all improved, with further enhancement provided by the No Stock Mod.
With that in mind, we selected the Imperator Long Barrel to enhance both bullet velocity and range. Furthermore, we decided to use the JAK Maglift Kit Conversion Kit which features a “binary trigger”for increased fire rate, a magazine capacity of 60 rounds, improved damage range, and better recoil control.
When I used this loadout on smaller maps such as Shipment and Meat, players were unable to defend themselves against me, resulting in impressive kill streaks.
The JAK Maglift Kit makes the Haymaker the best pick for close-range combat.

Similarly to SMGs, mobility plays a crucial role when utilizing a Shotgun. Therefore, our first step will be to equip the Infantry Vest in order to improve Tac Sprint abilities. Additionally, the Commando Gloves will provide further enhancement to your movement, enabling you to reload while sprinting.
By combining the Covert Boots and Ghost T/V Camo, you can effectively silence your footsteps and evade detection by enemy UAVs while on the move. This allows for discreet movement around the map and optimal use of the Shotgun within its range.
In order to disorient and swiftly eliminate enemies in buildings, the Semtex and Flash Grenades combination is highly effective. Additionally, the Trophy System Field Upgrade is perfect for safeguarding yourself while engaging in objectives.
Unlocking the Haymaker in MW3: A Step-by-Step Guide
To acquire the Haymaker Shotgun, you must either reach Level 39 or successfully exfiltrate with it in Zombies.
To accelerate your progress and reach the required level more swiftly, be sure to activate your Double XP tokens.
Best alternatives
If you are seeking other options, consider the Reclaimer 18, which is based on the iconic SPAS-12. If you have not yet unlocked either Shotgun, the KV Broadside continues to be a reliable choice.
