The Bear Season 3: Bradley Cooper Cameo You Probably Missed

The third season of The Bear features several high-profile celebrities with unexpected cameo appearances, including Bradley Cooper, which may have gone unnoticed by some fans.

The third season of The Bear concludes on a bittersweet tone, with Carmey, Richie, and Sydney paying their respects at the funeral of Ever, the high-end restaurant owned by Chef Andrea Terry.

The event is filled with famous attendees and offers numerous characters the opportunity for closure, although, in typical The Bear style, only a few actually attain it.

The scene is sprinkled with appearances from various real-life chefs, initially showcased through a rapid sequence of newspaper clippings and photographs. However, if you’re not paying attention, you might overlook the most noteworthy cameo of the moment: a surprise appearance by Bradley Cooper.

Bradley Cooper makes a surprise cameo in The Bear Season 3 finale.

The still of Cooper is taken from the 2015 cooking dramedy Burnt, where he portrays chef Adam Jones. The film depicts Jones, a renowned chef who strives to regain his success and earn a Michelin star despite his past struggles with drug addiction and a fiery temper that almost destroyed his career.

Jones is an intriguing selection, as he embodies many of Carmy’s challenges. Like her, he is a reserved perfectionist who is determined to make his restaurant succeed and validate himself. However, it isn’t until he begins to have faith in his kitchen staff that he truly thrives.

Regrettably, Burnt did not receive positive reactions from fans or critics. Currently, the film has a low rating of 28% on the Tomatometer and a 45% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. In a 2019 Eater review, it is described as “potentially the most terrible food movie ever created.”

Despite The Bear’s cameo, the episode fails to reveal the purpose behind using Bradley Cooper in this specific role. His character, Jones, does not reappear later in the episode, leaving fans to wonder if the cameo was simply a playful reference for keen viewers or a hint at a potential future appearance by Cooper in upcoming seasons.

The third season of The Bear is now available for streaming on both Hulu and Disney Plus. Additionally, we have provided explanations for the significance of “keep the spoon”and The French Laundry, and don’t forget to explore other new television series being released this month.
