Portgas D Ace

Despite being offered a position as one of the warlords of the sea, Portgas D Ace chose to reject it. He was a member of the One Piece cast who harbored resentment towards his father, Gol D Roger, until his death. In fact, he even joined his father’s rival crew and ultimately died as a son of Edward Newgate.

Although the exact causes of his resentment towards his biological father were not explicitly stated, it is clear that the discrimination Ace experienced as the son of the Pirate King greatly contributed to his hatred towards his father, Gold D Roger. Throughout his life, Ace refused to accept his father’s name and instead chose to carry his mother’s name, Portgas, until his death. This displays his stubbornness and strong stance on this aspect of his life.

Enel – Unchanged

Enel, the self-proclaimed ‘God’ ruling over the Skypiea Islands, is known for his unwavering stubbornness among the characters of One Piece. Despite being defeated by Luffy, he remained steadfast in his belief of being a divine being and continued to antagonize the protagonists.

Despite not knowing the exact reasons, it is believed that his delusional personality may stem from his origins as an arrogant human. This became evident after he consumed the Rumble-Rumble devil fruit and became the most powerful person on his home island, Birka. It is possible that this led to the development of a God complex.

Boa Hancock

Despite the apparent futility, Boa Hancock remains steadfast in her love for Luffy, refusing to let go of her innocent affection. Among the characters in One Piece, she is known for her unwavering dedication to romance in her life. Their first encounter was all it took for her to fall for Luffy, as her powers had no effect on him.

Despite Luffy’s lack of response, she couldn’t help but fall deeply in love with him. She holds onto the belief that he may have some feelings for her, despite his aversion to the word “love”.

Foxy

Despite being a minor antagonist in the series, Foxy is known for constantly resorting to cheating. He only appears during the Davy Back fights in the One Piece series.

Despite being the most frequent participant in these fights throughout the series, Foxy has never made an effort to reflect on his mistakes. He prioritizes cheating and winning the fight over finding ways to improve his pirate crew and devise a proper strategy.

Despite fighting the Straw Hat Pirates twice, he resorted to cheating both times. While he lost the first battle, he could have potentially come up with a different strategy for the second one. However, his stubbornness prevented him from thinking logically and he ultimately resorted to cheating again.

Spandam’s unyielding determination to see Nico Robin punished has solidified his position as one of the most detested characters in One Piece. This same obsession is also what makes him one of the most stubborn characters in the series.

Despite his unknown reasons for despising Nico Robin, his intense desire to harm her raises further doubts. Fortunately, during the Enies Lobby arc, the Straw Hat Pirate was able to exact revenge on him by using her devil fruit powers to break his spine.

Borsalino

Admiral Kizaru, also known as Borsalino, is a character in One Piece who blindly follows the orders of the World Government and refuses to betray them under any circumstances. This was evident during the Egghead Island arc when he allowed Saint Saturn to torture Vegapunk and Kuma’s family without hesitation.

Despite having a good time with Kuma and Vegapunk while working on the Pacifista units, Kizaru refused to intervene when they were in danger from Saint Saturn. This stubbornness in following the World Government’s orders remained consistent.

Smoker, the man determined to capture Monkey D Luffy and imprison him, is renowned for his unwavering determination among One Piece characters. This drive stems from his belief that Luffy is equal to the Pirate King, evident in his smirk when Buggy attempts to execute the young pirate.

Despite his best efforts, he has been unable to catch Luffy on multiple occasions. The first instance was during the Loguetown arc, when Dragon intervened. In the Arabasta arc, he allowed Luffy to escape as a result of his crewmate’s rescue. Most recently, during the Punk Hazard arc, he came close to capturing Luffy, but was hindered by the arrival of Doflamingo.

Despite facing numerous defeats, Buggy remains one of the most obstinate characters in One Piece. Rather than recruiting new fighters, he remains fixated on accumulating treasure.

Although it may seem impossible to match Nami’s obsession with treasure, Buggy does give her a run for her money with his willingness to put himself in dangerous situations in pursuit of riches. A prime example of this is his cunning escape from the Roger Pirates, which resulted in him unintentionally consuming the Chop-Chop devil fruit and nearly drowning.

2) Marshall D Teach (Blackbeard)

Blackbeard, a member of the D clan, is highly revered as the Messiah among his crew members. He is also known as one of the most formidable villains in the series, characterized by his unwavering stubbornness and refusal to learn from past experiences.

Despite attempting to make a grand entrance on multiple occasions, he consistently finds himself in troublesome scenarios despite his initial confidence. When he arrived at Impel Down with a strong sense of self-assurance, he was taken aback by the immense strength of the warden, Megallan.

Despite the fact that most fans see it as a strategic move by Blackbeard, he may simply be determined to make this one strategy succeed every time. However, this approach has yet to be successful, and his obstinate personality prevents him from altering his tactics in battle.

1) Monkey D Luffy

Despite any obstacles, Monkey D Luffy is determined to become the Pirate King, making him the most persistent character in One Piece. He serves as both the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates and the main protagonist of the series.

Despite the determination of the majority of the One Piece characters to achieve their goals, they are ultimately no match for Luffy’s unyielding determination to reach the end of the Grand Line. In addition to this goal, Luffy also stubbornly insists on choosing perilous destinations over safer ones.

After the crew departed from Fisherman Island, the Fisherman tribe requested that the Straw Hat Pirates proceed with caution. Luffy, holding onto Nami, the navigator, insisted that they continue their journey towards the more perilous destination.
