The K-drama “Queen of Tears”, which ended in April, will be holding a popup store starting today (June 27) until July 3 at The Hyundai Seoul’s B2 Iconic Popup Zone, as a gesture of gratitude towards their loyal fans.
Fans can buy a range of items at this temporary store that were inspired by props used in the drama, including Baek Hyun-woo’s (Kim Soo-hyun) green umbrella gifted to Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won) and the diary she left behind before her surgery.
In addition, there are many fan attractions available, such as a recreated photo spot of Yongduri Village, Baek Hyun-woo’s hometown, and a wall featuring stills of the couple that have been released thus far.
Among all the photos, the never-before-seen wedding pictures of Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won have captured the interest of many. The pair, renowned for their flawless on-screen chemistry as the “Baek-Hong Couple,”had previously impressed their fans with photos from their honeymoon and wedding, which were released by tvN and looked remarkably similar to those of a real-life married couple.
In the recently released pictures, Kim Ji-won is depicted placing her arm lovingly on Kim Soo-hyun’s shoulder and gazing at him with tenderness. In return, Kim Soo-hyun tenderly wraps his arms around her and gazes adoringly at her.
In the meantime, “Queen of Tears”gained worldwide recognition by topping Netflix’s Global TOP10 Non-English Series category and earning a final episode rating of 24.9%, solidifying its position as tvN’s most highly-rated drama to date.
