Viral Merch Sales of ‘Hawk Tuah’ Girl Reach Staggering Amount

The man behind the operation has revealed that the girl behind the popular ‘hawk tuah’ meme on social media has already sold a staggering amount of merchandise.

Despite not being active on social media, Hailey Welch, known for popularizing the catchphrase ‘hawk tuah’ on social media, is still taking advantage of her newfound fame.

Jason Poteete, the founder of Fathead Threads, formed a swift bond with the hawk tuah girl. She became a member of the clothing company and together they designed hats with the signature ‘Hawk Tuah 24’ embroidered on the front.

In an interview with Rolling Stone’s EJ Dickson, Poteete provided several updates on the viral video, including an approximate number of hats that have been sold thus far.

According to the publication, the ‘Hawk Tuah 24’ hats are being offered in 14 different colors for $32.78 each, with an additional option of a signed version for $50. The owner of Fathead Threads estimates that the shop has sold approximately 2,000 hats so far.

The ‘hawk tuah’ girl has not been fired despite viral claims.

Calculating with only the least expensive option, the total amount adds up to a staggering $65,560. Furthermore, considering that a portion of those purchases were for the pricier version, the figure is significantly higher.

The owner of Fathead Threads reports significant interest in the merchandise, and the entire team is currently fully dedicated to producing and delivering the popular hats.

Since launching his partnership with Welch, Poteete shares that he has been contacted by numerous individuals, including the WWE.

The reason he contacted the viral internet star was because he noticed that nobody had asked for her permission to use her catchphrase. He simply wanted her to benefit from the situation. The internet star has also sought the help of a trademark lawyer in order to secure ownership of her popular catchphrase.

Several prominent internet influencers have responded to the viral sensation of the ‘hawk tuah’ girls. During his podcast, Joe Rogan expressed his surprise at the amount of merchandise she has already sold due to her sudden rise to fame.
