On June 28th, a video titled “Oh My, It’s Bang Girls”was released on Big Bang’s Daesung’s “Zip Daesung”channel.
During the video, Sunye and Yubin from Wonder Girls were featured as guests. The production team inquired, “Have you two discussed the possibility of a Wonder Girls’ reunion?”
Sunye caught everyone’s attention when she responded, “Yes, we definitely have.”Yubin chimed in, “We’ve discussed it extensively. However, due to conflicting schedules and our separate companies, the project never gained much traction.”
Despite discussing potential options such as releasing an album and holding concerts, Yubin explained that realistic circumstances prevented them from following through with these plans. As a result, the talks eventually died out, revealing the reason why the group has not reunited in its entirety.
At the same time, news broke on the same day that the group 2NE1 would be meeting with Yang Hyun-suk, sparking anticipation for potential reunion activities.
According to reports, the official meeting lasted approximately 2 hours and included meaningful and significant conversations.
