Occasionally, life imitates art – and a recent addition to the real world has caused excitement among both the Young Sheldon cast and its devoted followers.
Although the Young Sheldon cast and the Big Bang Theory prequel share few similarities, one actor, Montana Jordan, appears in both. In addition to using his real voice for his character, he is also portraying a new father, following in Georgie’s footsteps.
In May 2024, it was announced by Jordan that his partner had welcomed a daughter named Emma Rae Jordan, further highlighting the resemblances between himself and his on-screen siblings, Georgie and Mandy. This has also sparked speculation among fans about the significance of the middle name “Rae”and its connection to his character’s sister, Raegan Revord.
After their initial meeting, Revord took to Instagram to share their first moments with baby Emma. The heartwarming post has left both the cast and fans feeling emotional.
One fan commented on Reddit, captioning the photo “Auntie Rae meets Emma Rae,”and expressing their observation that the two seem to share a special bond. The comment was followed by a heartwarming sentiment about their cuteness.

A second person also commented: “Lol, this could easily be Missy holding her brother’s baby, Cece.”Another person added: “The sibling bond between them is strong both on and off the show.”
“A fourth person added that they hoped she would eventually appear on the new show.”
Although the snaps do resemble something from the upcoming Young Sheldon sequel Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage, it is uncertain if Revord will actually make an appearance. Following the series being greenlit, she shared on Instagram that she was not invited to star in it.
Despite the fact that there are no indications of this changing and it is uncertain if Iain Armitage will also participate, Revord is undoubtedly relishing her role as a real-life aunt.
These responsibilities may prove useful in the near future, as the production of Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage is scheduled to start within the next few weeks.
Despite being filmed in front of a multi-cam audience, it remains uncertain if the sequel will remain faithful to its Young Sheldon origins or take on a different tone similar to that of TBBT.
Without a doubt, Jordan is about to become even more exhausted. As one fan accurately stated: “I can see it in his face. That man is exhausted.”
