QTCinderella Forgives Atrioc Amid Deepfake Controversy but Hasn’t Met Him Face-to-Face

In a recent discussion, Twitch streamer QTCinderella revealed her reasons for not attending a New Year’s Eve party hosted by Stanz, primarily due to the presence of Atrioc. Although she has forgiven him for the past incidents, QTCinderella expressed that she isn’t ready to re-establish their friendship just yet.

This reflection comes after a significant controversy that began on January 30, 2023, when Atrioc faced backlash for viewing inappropriate deepfake material featuring several female streamers, including notable names like Pokimane and Maya Higa. His exposure triggered outrage within the community and led to severed ties with the affected streamers, particularly QTCinderella, who even considered legal action against the platform hosting the content.

Upon seeking legal advice in February, QTCinderella learned that pursuing a lawsuit against the deepfake site was not feasible. She also described her bond with Atrioc as “irreparable,” underscoring the pain of losing a close friendship shared with both herself and her partner, Ludwig.

QTCinderella Reflects on Friendship with Atrioc

Fast forward to January 2025, during a Twitch stream, QTCinderella revisited this emotional chapter. She shared her choice to skip the New Year’s party after discovering Atrioc’s attendance was confirmed. Laughing, she remarked, “That’s probably not the best icebreaker after [all these] years. ‘Happy New Year! Anyway, it’s been a while… let’s talk about it.’ There’s nothing to talk about. For the record, chat, it’s just [the] human experience.”

Despite the tumultuous past, QTCinderella acknowledged her capacity to forgive, recognizing Atrioc’s significant efforts to combat the deepfake issue. Notably, she praised his donation of $60,000 to the Morrison Rothman law firm to help DMCA target the offending websites.

“I’m also a forgiver, and I also think Atrioc put more effort into fixing a solution to the problem than anybody who ever was put in that situation,” she expressed. “But I haven’t personally spent any time with him yet. I will still talk to him casually about some stuff, but I haven’t seen him in person in so many years. It’s bizarro. I’ll need to break the ice at some point. I’ll need to do that.”
