According to reports from Sports Chosun, “Queen of Tears”has achieved numerous impressive feats. It quickly reached a nationwide rating of 20.73%, surpassing the ratings of “Crash Landing on You”at a faster pace. It is predicted to soon claim the No.1 spot. In the Seoul area, the drama has already surpassed “Crash Landing on You”with a rating of 23.2% (peaking at 25.2%).
According to the result of a survey conducted by the Good Data Corporation in the second week of April, “Queen of Tears”was the most talked about drama among ongoing TV and OTT dramas, accounting for 64% of hot topics. The drama’s popularity also reflected in the drama cast popularity chart, with half of the top 10 spots being occupied by the actors of “Queen of Tears”. The leading actors, Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won, have held the top two positions for six consecutive weeks.
