“Queen of Tears” Co-Stars Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won Show Sweet Chemistry During Pre-Shoot Preparations

A new behind-the-scenes video of “Queen of Tears,”tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama, was released on the tvN drama channel on April 17th.

The video highlighted the making of a scene in which Hong Hae-in (portrayed by Kim Ji-won) mistakenly confuses Baek Hyun-woo (played by Kim Soo-hyun) with Yoon Eun-sung (played by Park Sung-hoon). While rehearsing, Kim Soo-hyun playfully pushed Park Sung-hoon, leading to laughter among the cast and crew.

Following an initial unsuccessful try, Park Sung-hoon brushed off a misinterpretation with laughter. Despite a second attempt, Kim Soo-hyun playfully scolded himself for unexpectedly stopping. Eventually, their efforts paid off, leading Park Sung-hoon to express contentment.

Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won fully immersed themselves in the scenes, showcasing a natural chemistry between them and completely embodying their characters.

Kim Soo-hyun adeptly styled Kim Ji-won’s hair and displayed expert drying abilities while filming. In episode 12 of “Queen of Tears”, there was a moment where Hong Hae-in smiles slyly while wearing the engagement ring gifted by Baek Hyun-woo in secret.

Despite facing a wardrobe challenge during rehearsal, Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won were able to improvise and deliver a heartfelt performance. The production team commended their on-screen chemistry.
