During the April 20th broadcast of tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama “Queen of Tears,”which marked its 13th episode, Hong Hae-in (played by Kim Ji-won) received news that she was eligible for surgery.
In this episode, Baek Hyun-woo received a phone call from medical staff in Germany and informed his family that Hae-in was eligible for surgery. Despite this, Baek chose not to disclose the potential risk of long-term memory loss associated with the procedure.
After learning about the side effect, Hong Hae-in sought out a secluded place to cry. She made the decision to decline the surgery, fearing that she would forget about Hyun-woo. In response, Hyun-woo recorded a heartfelt video for her to watch in the future, introducing himself as her husband and promising to always love her.
