The recent episode of the popular K-drama “Queen of Tears”showed the female protagonist Hong Hae-in (portrayed by Kim Ji-won) undergoing surgery to remove her brain tumor. Despite the operation’s success, Hae-in suffered from memory loss.
Upon waking up, Hae-in discovered that her husband, Baek Hyun-woo (portrayed by Kim Soo-hyun), had been falsely accused of murder and subsequently arrested. Taking advantage of the situation, the villain Yoo Eun-sung (played by Park Sung-hoon), who had been pursuing Hae-in’s affections, attempted to manipulate her into believing she reciprocated his feelings.
The actions of Yoo Eun-sung have angered many individuals, causing them to direct their frustration towards Park Sung-hoon. As a result, Park Sung-hoon’s recent Instagram posts have been bombarded with negative comments criticizing Yoo Eun-sung.
At the same time, some viewers also drew comparisons between Yoo Eun-sung and Jeon Jae-joon, another antagonist played by Park Sung-hoon in “The Glory”, while others couldn’t help but applaud Park Sung-hoon’s outstanding portrayal of a villain.
