On April 22nd, Nielsen Korea, a rating company, reported that episode 13 of tvN’s weekend drama “Queen of Tears”achieved a nationwide viewership rating of 21.625%. This brings the drama’s ratings closer to “Crash Landing on You”with a difference of less than 1%.
Despite the passing of four years, “Crash Landing on You”remains the top-rated drama on tvN with an impressive average rating of 21.683% in its final episode. No other drama has surpassed this record.
Even though it has only been recently released, the ongoing drama “Queen of Tears”has already achieved the second highest rating, surpassing the rating of “Goblin”(20.5%) in episode 12.
Despite having only two more episodes left, “Queen of Tears”has already reached a total of 16 episodes. With its current rating surpassing 20%, there is a high anticipation for the drama to surpass the record set by “Crash Landing of You”and become the top-rated tvN drama.
“The drama “Queen of Tears”follows the romantic journey of Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won) and Baek Hyun-woo (Kim Soo-hyun), third-generation chaebols who rediscover their love for each other amidst a turbulent period in their third year of marriage. The show airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 p.m.”
