Ra Mi Ran Takes Charge as Owner of Adult Toy Business

The premiere episode of the JTBC weekend series “A Virtuous Business,” which aired on October 12, featured a notable cameo by Ra Mi-ran, who played the role of a lingerie company president.

After her husband lost his job, Han Jeong-sook (portrayed by Kim So-yeon) was on a quest for employment. While searching, she stumbled upon a lingerie company ad in a discarded newspaper and decided to follow up the next day.

During an orientation session for prospective employees, the president (Ra Mi-ran) proclaimed, “This isn’t merely underwear; it’s lingerie that’s designed to be displayed.” She advocated for the idea that women deserve an active and passionate sex life, thereby addressing the stereotype that they lack interest in such matters.

As some participants began to exit the event, feeling flustered, the president maintained her enthusiasm and shared her entrepreneurial insights. She disclosed that her initial venture involved selling merchandise sourced from U.S. military PX stores, where she first encountered lingerie and adult items. Motivated by military personnel, she decided to create “Fantasy Lingerie.”

Despite her initial doubts, Han Jeong-sook was reassured by the president’s boldness and learned that the company boasted 70 stores in Seoul and that she drove a luxury car parked outside. Ultimately, swayed by the president’s self-assuredness, Han Jeong-sook resolved to embark on selling lingerie and adult products.
