Rapper Ralan Styles, known for his viral 2022 remix of Baby Shark, has tragically passed away at the age of 22.

After he released his remix of Baby Shark in 2022, Ralan gained significant popularity on platforms such as YouTube and Instagram.

The track amassed 1.7 million views on YouTube and achieved over 32 million streams on Spotify, with more listens on various streaming services like Apple Music and others.

According to a report from the Daily Mail on October 21, Ralan Styles was shot multiple times during an attempted robbery in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred at a residence where the assailant tried to steal his chain.

Law enforcement received detailed descriptions from witnesses, which led them to apprehend the suspect nearby, who now faces murder charges.

Ralan’s brother shared the heartbreaking news of his passing via Instagram. “Not my lil brother man,” he posted. “I’m still waiting for you to call me and say this is all a joke.

“My heart is shattered; I will never be the same again. We transitioned from rapping together at the lunch table in middle school to becoming stars… I love you, brother, and as long as I breathe, you will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Ralan Styles.”
