Razer Unveils Limited Edition Pokemon-themed PC Accessories

Razer and The Pokemon Company have collaborated to launch a line of spooky Gengar PC gaming accessories, but unfortunately, fans in the US won’t be able to get their hands on all of them.

Razer is well-known for collaborating with some of the most popular games in the industry. Recently, the tech accessory giant released a Fortnite Edition collection that includes a wide range of battle royale-ready accessories to upgrade your gaming setup with a touch of style.

Razer has partnered with The Pokemon Company, a major player in the gaming industry, to unveil a striking gaming mouse and accompanying desk mat inspired by the beloved ghost-type Pokemon, Gengar.

Despite not being officially announced by any of Razer’s social media accounts, images of the spooky collaboration were shared by the Pokemon X/Twitter profile PokeJungle. These themed accessories, however, are currently only accessible for Pokemon enthusiasts in China.

The exclusive Gengar mouse showcases the iconic Pokemon in its signature purple hue on the base, while the rest of the mouse boasts a striking repeating design of all of Gengar’s variations, along with Pokeballs for added flair. As part of the Razer Viper V3 Pro series, not only does this mouse have a sleek appearance, but its impressive polling rate of 8000Hz and lightweight build make it perfect for competitive games such as Valorant. (Unfortunately, Pokemon Unite is not currently available on PC.)

Compared to the standard Viper V3 Pro, the Pokemon edition is a stunner.

The desk mat that matches has the same funky repeated design as the 94×41 cm-sized mat, but this time Gengar is even bigger and placed in the center.

In the past, Razer and Pokemon have collaborated before. In the previous year, Razer launched a collection of Pokemon-inspired designs for its Orochi V2 gaming mouse. Beloved characters such as Charizard, Jigglypuff, Sylveon, and even Gengar were featured in the collection, each with its own Pokeball-themed packaging.

Similarly, the cute Pokemon gaming mice were exclusively sold in China at the time, but this did not prevent them from being listed on online auction platforms such as eBay with exorbitant price markups.

Fortunately, you won’t have to engage in a bidding war in order to obtain these newly released Razer Gengar accessories. Both the Gengar Limited Edition Viper V3 wireless mouse and its matching desk mat can be purchased directly from
