On October 14, the Taiwanese news source “SETNEWS Network” highlighted that Princess Jenna of Cambodia is contemplating a move to Korea to launch her idol career. According to the report, “The 12-year-old Cambodian Princess Norodom Jenna is a rising star in the entertainment world, often invited to fashion events and Chinese media appearances. Renowned for her remarkable singing and dancing talents, recent information has emerged about her aspiration to head to Korea where she would train with the aim of becoming an international sensation.”

The article further elaborated, “Fluent in five languages—French, Khmer, Thai, Chinese, and English—she is a passionate fan of K-pop, particularly admiring BLACKPINK’s Lisa and (G)I-DLE’s Minnie.”

Jenna embarked on her entertainment journey as an actress and singer back in 2018, quickly gaining fame through her roles in numerous advertisements and television dramas. Her striking resemblance to Lisa, alongside her impressive dance capabilities, has led many to dub her Cambodia’s “Little Lisa.”

In 2022, she signed with KWAVE Entertainment, a Cambodian agency affiliated with K-pop, marking her debut as a Cambodian K-pop star. She kicked off her career in November 2022 with the release of her duet “You Da One” alongside singer BOBO.

During her guest appearance on YTN’s “Global Korean” last year, she shared, “I fell in love with the songs and dances of K-pop idols right from the start, which piqued my interest in the genre.”

Norodom Jenna is the daughter of Cambodian Princess Norodom Bophary and a French entrepreneur, making her the great-granddaughter of the late King Norodom Sihanouk of Cambodia.
