Barbie Pascual was left feeling embarrassed when Kyle Stillie behaved inappropriately on Below Deck Season 11, and her fans came to her defense for calling him out.
Stew Barbie Pascual and deckhand Kyle Stillie developed a romantic relationship with each other while on the eleventh season of Below Deck.
Despite their mutual attraction, it took the crew members some time to enter into a romantic relationship. This was largely due to the clash between Barbie’s conservative beliefs and Kyle’s desire to openly express his feelings for her.
During a crew night out on the May 13 episode of Below Deck, Kyle opted to wear a kilt as a playful prank while they all visited a bowling alley.
Despite Barbie’s repeated requests for him to stop, the deckhand continued to lift up his kilt and show off that he was not wearing any clothing underneath, much to her offense.
Kyle and Barbie dated on Below Deck Season 11.
A user on Reddit inquired about whether Barbie’s actions were justified in addressing Kyle’s inappropriate behavior and was interested in hearing other fans’ viewpoints on the matter.
“One fan responded, acknowledging that Barbie was correct in asking him, but not for the same reason she had in mind. The fan suggested that Barbie should try to stop dwelling on her father’s thoughts, as it was causing her unnecessary stress.”
Despite acknowledging that Barbie can be absurd on occasion, another person agreed that she was correct. They stated that even if she wasn’t romantically involved with Kyle, it was inappropriate to do in front of their friends.
Another viewer hypothesized that the camera crew deliberately provoked him to generate drama for the show, leading to his exaggerated behavior.
European men, they disclosed, typically display specific body parts in public with greater ease, which is something Barbie isn’t accustomed to.
Despite previously being in a relationship, Kyle and Barbie have since gone their separate ways. Barbie, who appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on May 13, confirmed that she is now dating someone new.
Upon Andy’s inquiry about the stew’s new boyfriend, she playfully quipped, “He’s Jewish and he prefers pants,”making a direct reference to Kyle’s previous kilt mishap.
Now that Barbie and Kyle have ended their relationship, she no longer has to be concerned about him wearing a kilt.
