Recommended Diablo Immortal Necromancer Builds for Season 26

Despite their power, Diablo and his followers are still subject to the forces of death. If you’re playing Season 26 of Diablo Immortal, check out these top Necromancer builds.

The Necromancer, a beloved character class, first appeared in Diablo 2 and has remained a fan-favorite for over two decades. This class specializes in poison and bone spells, as well as the ability to raise an army of undead servants. Although the equally impressive Witch Doctor took their place in Diablo 3, the Necromancer was eventually brought back in a highly requested expansion. Fans can also look forward to the return of this character class in the upcoming release of Diablo 4.

Now, the deadly priests of Rathma are making a comeback in Diablo Immortal, a game that can be played on both mobile and PC. The question is, with a range of bone and summoning spells at their disposal, which Necromancer build is the most optimal in Diablo Immortal? In this article, we will share the top Necromancer builds for Season 26 in Diablo Immortal and provide tips on how to create them.

Is the Necromancer class the right fit for me?

The Necromancer in Diablo Immortal shares similarities with previous Necromancers from the Diablo series. However, due to the unique gameplay of Immortal, there are notable alterations.

The Necromancer class is not suitable for those seeking to defeat their enemies through brute force. Rather, it is a type of mage that utilizes death as its main weapon. This involves techniques such as causing corpses to detonate, casting spells with bones, and inflicting status ailments on foes.

Despite the fact that the primary appeal of the Necromancer lies in their ability to summon undead minions to carry out their commands, they also have the power to resurrect the deceased and use them as soldiers in battle. This allows them to remain at a safe distance and utilize their spells to either strengthen their minions or provide remote assistance.

Playing as Diablo’s resident anti-hero is also a lot of fun.

The Necromancer is a character class that recognizes the need to embrace the darkness in order to defeat the Lord of Terror and protect the world. They must harness the power of death and use it as a weapon against the countless armies of Hell.

Is the Necromancer a Good Class This Season?

Indeed, the Necromancer has been awarded with an A rank in both PVE and PVP for Season 26 of Diablo Immortal.

Despite not quite reaching the top-tier S rank, the Necromancer remains an excellent choice as Season 26 of the game begins.

Best Necromancer Diablo Immortal Build

Despite the various Necromancer builds available in Season 26, the classic Summoner build remains the most efficient and recommended choice.

If you are seeking a character focused on PVP, the Bone Spikes/Embalmer build may be more suitable, but in general, the Summoner build takes the top spot.

Features

To successfully build it, prioritize allocating your attribute points to Intelligence and Vitality, while also investing some points into Willpower and Fortitude. Strength is of lesser significance in this build.

Skills

The main offensive ability in this Necromancer build is Soulfire. This allows you to attack enemies from a safe distance, while your minions do the close combat damage. Not only is it a potent offensive skill, it also provides support to your troops and keeps you out of harm’s way.

Your primary support abilities should include Command Skeletons and Corpse Explosion. The latter enables you to cause deceased foes to detonate, inflicting damage on any nearby creatures.

When you use the Command Skeletons skill, it will revive any fallen bone warriors and guide them to your desired target. Once they have been commanded, your skeletons will charge towards the target and continue attacking until it is defeated. The skill can be used again after 8 seconds once the cooldown period has elapsed.

It is not necessary to use it every 8 seconds, and it is also not recommended. However, this skill will assist you in managing your minions and keeping them focused when necessary.

Your secondary skills should focus on Bone Armor and Command Golem. The former creates a protective barrier of bone around you, shielding you from damage until it disappears. This skill is particularly valuable towards the end of the game when enemies become more difficult to defeat and deal greater damage. Keep in mind that this skill becomes available at level 41, so you will have to wait until then to utilize it.

The skill Command Golem allows you to call upon a formidable monster to join you in battle, providing valuable support to your skeletons. This powerful combination is the key to success in this build, but it can only be accessed once you reach level 50.

Therefore, feel free to try out other abilities, such as Skeletal Mage, until you unlock Command Golem and Bone Armor, but remember to focus on the aforementioned skills until then.

Gear

The most optimal armor for this build is the Shepherds Call to Wolves set (including jewelry). Equipping multiple pieces of this set will provide your minions with stronger buffs. Although this set may not offer the best protection, it is the most advantageous for maximizing the effectiveness of your minions, which is the main focus of this build.

When choosing your primary weapon, be sure to keep an eye out for the Destolatoria as it enhances your Command Golem skill. As for your secondary item, opt for the Life in Balance item. This will improve your Command Skeletons skill, resulting in a boost for all your minions from both of your weapons.

Diablo Immortal: PVP Necromancer Build

Necromancers are feared by the people of Sanctuary, but they’re a useful ally against Diablo.

If your goal is to dominate in PVP with a Necromancer, there is a specific build that is better suited for this than the usual Summoner build. This is known as the Bone Spikes Necromancer, also referred to as the Embalmer build, which excels in eliminating other Nephalem.

Utilize the same attributes as the PVE build mentioned earlier, but prioritize leveling the following skills:

  • Bone Spear (Primary skill)
  • Bone Spikes (Main support skill)
  • Bone Wall (Secondary support skill)
  • Corpse Lance (Secondary skill)
  • Wraith Form (Additional skill)

It is also possible to utilize your Command Skeletons ability, although it should be noted that experienced PVP competitors will likely eliminate your minions swiftly. Therefore, it is more advisable to prioritize your own offensive prowess.

Nevertheless, if you happen to have attained a sufficiently high level, Command Golem can prove to be a valuable asset. Your Golem will divert some attention from you, keeping your opponent occupied for a brief period and allowing you an opportunity to strike.

When it comes to gear, make sure to equip the following items:

  • Sacaral Socks
  • Gravedirt’s Weight
  • Exhumant’s Backbone
  • Visitor’s Sign
  • Desolate
  • Pyre’s Allure

This equipment is designed to enhance your primary abilities and provide a boost to your bone spells, maximizing their potential damage in PVP.

Therefore, these are the top Necromancer builds for Season 26 in Diablo Immortal.
