Developed by Studio Zero and Atlus, Metaphor: ReFantazio marks a new intellectual property for the video game company following the success of the Persona franchise. As detailed on the official website, the story unfolds in the United Kingdom of Euchronia, where the King’s assassination leads to turmoil, sparking a Royal Tournament for the contested throne.

Amidst the chaos, the protagonist, accompanied by his partner Gallica, must navigate challenges to lift a curse that plagues the Prince, presumed dead by the kingdom. In their quest, they realize participation in the Royal Tournament is necessary to restore order.
