My Hero Academia season 7 episode 19 recap
The episode began with the Heroes monitoring the situation through their control room. A spy at the U.A. Sky Coffin had been hindering Manami Aiba from accessing the systems fully. However, the mole was soon discovered. Meanwhile, AFO was closing in, prompting the Heroes to urgently require assistance to intercept him.
At Gunga Site, analysts identified that Dabi’s temperature was rapidly rising—he had accumulated excessive heat, threatening to obliterate everything within a 5 km radius in less than 10 minutes. Unfortunately, civilians were also in that vicinity, complicating the dire situation as there was no one left to assist.
Suddenly, static filled the communications and All Might’s voice was heard. With inspirational words, Shoto and Iida dashed to try to contain the impending explosion caused by Dabi. Meanwhile, the former No. 1 Hero was also making his way to the battlefield, ready to face AFO given their shared past.
At Gunga Villa, Endeavor was trying to direct Dabi away from innocent bystanders. However, Dabi was lost in his flames and hatred, attacking his father vehemently. As he approached death, his Quirk unlocked its full potential due to overwhelming emotions.
Just when Endeavor was about to lift Dabi into the air to diffuse the explosion, Rei, Natsuo, and Fuyumi appeared. They attempted to use their Ice Quirk to cool both Dabi and Endeavor, aiming to contain the explosion. Shortly after, a surge of ice was seen heading to Gunga—it was Iida and Shoto, with the latter being the last resort to quell Dabi’s outburst.
Harnessing both his Quirks once again, Shoto raced to his family’s side. With his remaining strength, he executed a final Great Glacial Aegir aimed at Dabi. From the outside, the fiery sphere morphed into ice before shattering. Miraculously, Shoto froze Dabi from within, preventing the catastrophic explosion. The episode concluded with Endeavor tearfully apologizing to his family.
