Release Date for Floating Islands Confirmed: Sew Delightful Update

In an announcement via the Disney Dreamlight Valley Twitter account, it was revealed that Floating Islands will be available starting December 4, 2024, as part of the highly anticipated “Sew Delightful” update. This update will not only showcase Sally but will also introduce a brand-new Star Path and an array of engaging features.

However, to gain access to the Floating Islands—exquisite new areas suspended above existing Valley Biomes—players must first complete the main quest entitled What’s Left Behind. This prerequisite will enable them to start Merlin’s new quest, Islands in the Sky, right when the update goes live.

The Sew Delightful update will introduce a total of four Floating Islands to discover, with the first island designed to resemble the Plaza serving as the focal point for Merlin’s upcoming quests. Once these islands are unlocked, players will enjoy the flexibility to fast travel between them, allowing for expansive decoration possibilities.

It is essential for players to complete the main quest line before December 4, ensuring they can dive straight into the new content and explore the delightful additions to Disney Dreamlight Valley without delay.
