Episode 7 of the Skip and Loafer anime, which is scheduled for premiere on May 16, 2023 at 11:00 pm JST, has been going steadily. As the end of the semester draws near, Mitsumi is working hard to get ready for the tests. The previous episode took its time as it further probed the complexities of several of the main characters’ relationships.

Sousuke Shima seems to have undergone a significant amount of character growth in the previous episode, given how he is. Being exposed was not something he took lightly. But after a small argument, he made the decision to be honest with Mitsumi about his current predicament in the hopes of repairing his relationship with her friend.

Episode 7 of Skip and Loafer will probably center on Mitsumi’s feelings for Sousuke Shima.

Recap: Skip and Loafer episode 6

While Fumi and Mitsumi were on a video conversation in episode 6 of Skip and Loafer, the former admitted that she was in love with someone from her school. She continued by informing Mitsumi that the boy she admired was a member of her tennis team. Mitsumi questioned Fumi about what it’s like to be in love.

She frequently struggles to come up with the correct response and experiences anxiety around him, according to her buddy. The action then switched to her classroom where the instructor handed out the exam materials for the impending Final Term exams.

Due to the fact that Sousuke Shima missed school on that crucial day, Mitsumi was quite worried about him. He informed Mitsumi that he missed school the following day because he was tired. When other girls started spreading rumors about Shima being a bit of a playboy who enjoyed the nightlife, her fear for him only grew dramatically. Even without the added awkwardness, the two were compelled to arrange the announcement papers because they were the class representatives.

Shima was pretty passive-aggressive throughout the exchange. First, Mitsumi was upset, but she soon realized that she appeared to be overanalyzing the matter. The underlying cause of her anxiety, she admitted the following day, was that school was dull without him. He also admitted what was happening to him at home.

He was open and honest with her. Shima finally stopped acting distant and acknowledged that Mitsumi was the first true female friend he had ever had. Mitsumi came to the realization that she was in love with Shima at this point.
