Exploring the remaining My Hero Academia Class 1-A students
The U.A. High School graduation ceremony was featured in My Hero Academia chapter 425, marking the departure of the third-year students and the promotion of the lower grades. As Class 1-A entered their third year, they said goodbye to Aoyama and welcomed Shinso, who would be their new homeroom teacher, Aizawa, like the previous year.
After defeating the ultimate villain All for One in the final battle, every student from this class gave their utmost effort and returned alive. With the departure of Aoyama, Class 1-A now comprises of 19 students.
Mina and Kirishima exerted themselves in their battle against the Sludge Villain, one of the initial enemies in the series. Koji and Shoji faced Spinner, who had transformed into a more powerful state. However, he was no match for the students of My Hero Academia’s Class 1-A.
In the final battle, Hagakure emerged victorious against Kunieda, a newly introduced villain, with the help of Aoyama. Meanwhile, Uraraka and Tsuyu faced off against Himiko Toga and, despite a close call with death, Uraraka emerged as the winner. Shoto also fought against his brother Toya (Dabi), with the assistance of their class representative Iida. The intense battle lasted two rounds, but Shoto ultimately emerged as the triumphant victor.
Jiro and Tokoyami teamed up with Mineta to battle All for One, but his overpowered quirks brought the fight to a standstill. However, Bakugo unexpectedly joined the fight and managed to defeat the villain as a wild-card entry.
Finally, Deku engaged in a battle against TomurAFO with the help of Momo, the vice-class representative of Class 1-A, and Kaminari. As the entire class came together to support Deku, even the remaining three students, Ojiro, Rikido, and Sero, joined in. Together, they aided Deku in reaching All for One and ultimately bringing an end to the final war by defeating the antagonists.
Final Thoughts
As some fans may have observed, Kohei Horikoshi’s writing differs from other authors who choose to eliminate key characters before their series reaches its climax.
Despite all of the My Hero Academia Class 1-A students surviving by the end of the series, the climax could have been a hit or miss for the fandom. However, the writer skillfully concluded the series in a way that deserves praise.
