The primary method to remove the enemies tag in Elder Scrolls Castles is by marrying two subjects. Once the wedding ceremony is completed, the enemy tag is automatically removed from both subjects’ cards. You can even marry subjects who are currently involved with another partner. Just ensure to marry them before instructing them to have children to avoid unnecessary conflicts.

However, there is no option to divorce subjects, meaning that marriage is a lifelong commitment, so consider whether this solution for eliminating the enemy tag is truly advantageous. Alternatively, you can remove the enemy tag by having them fight together!

To effectively remove the enemies tag in Elder Scrolls Castles via combat, you need to assign the two subjects to adjacent battle slots in the War Table or the Gauntlet. After placing them in matching positions, you must engage in 1 to 3 battles to eliminate the enemy status. For example, I successfully removed the enemy tag between my subjects, Never-Cold and Davilia Beleth, after two battles. To make this process simpler, consider repeatedly battling on Quest #1 to avoid any loss of health or items.

Now that you understand how to remove the enemy tag in Elder Scrolls Castles, you’ll be able to lead a harmonious dynasty where all your subjects coexist peacefully!
