Min Hee-jin, who had been accused by HYBE of attempting to take over management control, held her second press conference on May 31st, approximately a month after her initial one in April. This press conference came after a court ruling that granted her request to prevent HYBE from using their voting rights, allowing her to maintain her role as CEO for the time being. While expressing her relief at being cleared of accusations, Min Hee-jin also proposed working towards reconciliation for the benefit of NewJeans.

HYBE, which had previously declared its intentions to take further measures, convened an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting to remove two internal directors who were aligned with Min Hee-jin. In their place, new directors were appointed, including CHRO Kim Joo-young, CSO Lee Jae-sang, and CFO Lee Kyung-joon. As of now, HYBE has not released a statement in response to Min Hee-jin’s press conference.
