The Return of Fortnite’s Dragon Ball Skins Faces a Major Hurdle
After a five-month hiatus, Fortnite players might be excited to hear that the coveted Dragon Ball skins are making a comeback. However, there’s a significant issue for fans eager to don their favorite characters: these skins are currently unavailable for purchase.
A Legacy of Epic Collaborations
Fortnite has long been celebrated for its impressive array of collaborations with various franchises, including renowned musicians and sports figures. Among these is Dragon Ball, the iconic anime and manga series that has captured audiences’ hearts since Goku’s debut in 1984. Players have eagerly anticipated the return of Dragon Ball-themed content within the game.
Skins in Limbo
Although the skins are reportedly available in the game’s code, players are unable to access them. It’s akin to a retail store receiving a much-anticipated shipment of sneakers yet failing to display them for customers. Even though we know these items exist in the game’s backend, players can’t spend V-Bucks to obtain them, leaving eager fans disappointed.
What’s on the Horizon?
According to information from FNBRintel, the anticipated Goku Black skin is set to make its first appearance since August 2024, along with other beloved characters like Frieza, Trunks, and Androids 17 & 18. In addition to these skins, players can look forward to unique pickaxes such as Frieza’s Spaceship Staff and the Ki-Scythe.
Awaiting Resolution
Unfortunately, there is currently no timeline for when Epic Games will rectify this purchasing glitch. With the development team on holiday until January 6, fans may have to exercise patience as they await the skins’ availability in the game.
