“We collaborated closely with the original author, Ishida Sui, sharing concept designs and planning materials. As a result, he created two exclusive illustrations for attendees: one depicting Kaneki in his Anteiku uniform for the Tokyo venue, and another of Kaneki as a ghoul for the Osaka venue. Each illustration is designed to connect when placed together.”

“The highlight is undoubtedly the ‘Kaneki vs. Yamori Immersive Theater,’ which beautifully marries cutting-edge haptic technology with stunning visuals, allowing guests to experience the epic confrontation between Kaneki and Yamori in an exhilarating four-minute showcase.”

Additionally, there’s an interactive area titled “Quinx Treatment,” where attendees can engage with 3D animated content that simulates the unique abilities of the Quinx Squad.

Attendees are also invited to explore meticulously crafted three-dimensional sculptures, including a distinctive “Ghoul Mask”and “Quinque,”further immersing visitors into the world of Tokyo Ghoul.

International Aspirations

Discussing potential international expansion, they expressed excitement over the prospects:

“We plan to provide translated materials for our overseas guests at our venues in Japan. Though we are exploring international events, the specifics are still in the works.”

Furthermore, notable figures from the anime’s production, including voice actors like Hanae Natsuki and Amamiya Sora, graced the opening ceremony, demonstrating the widespread enthusiasm for the event.

The Tokyo Ghoul EX. event is underway in Japan, hosted at two remarkable locations. The Tokyo exhibition commenced on October 21, 2024, at the Warehouse Terrada G1 Building, remaining open until December 1, 2024.
