On April 14, 2024, a popular post titled “RIIZE facing controversy for being compared to LE SSERAFIM in their latest live performance,”was shared on the South Korean online community forum Instiz.

In the post, the OP shared a tweet from BRIIZE featuring a video of their performance of “Memories”during “The Performance.”

Shortly after the post was published, the comment section was inundated with Korean netizens.

Despite some positive comments, there were many who criticized the group’s performance as a complete failure. They pointed out that the group opted to use a backing track instead of singing the chorus live. Additionally, several commenters questioned the criteria for what is considered a good or bad idol performance.

Despite some criticism, many netizens were satisfied with RIIZE’s performance. They praised their abilities and argued that they did not deserve any negative feedback. Some acknowledged that they may not have been outstanding, but they were still far from LE SSERAFIM’s level.

Prior to the EP’s debut, the group has planned to release four singles: “Impossible”on April 18, followed by “9 Days,””Honestly,”and “One Kiss”on April 29.

In addition, the group revealed the schedule for their fan-con tour, “RIIZING DAY,”which will take place from May 4 to August 31, covering nine countries.
