Riot Games Excludes Bleed Esports from VCT; Boom Esports Secures Final Pacific Slot

Riot Games has made the announcement to eliminate Bleed Esports from the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) due to its failure to meet “critical reporting requirements.” Stepping in to occupy the now-empty 12th position in VCT Pacific will be Boom Esports.

As a result, Bleed Esports has officially lost its place in the top-tier Valorant competition. The Singapore-based organization had its spot in VCT Pacific rescinded by Riot for a series of “critical” administrative shortcomings.

“After thorough consideration, Riot Games has decided to remove Bleed Esports from the Valorant Champions Tour and VCT Pacific,” an October 4 statement indicated.

“Bleed Esports was removed due to failure to adhere to essential reporting requirements and other key obligations outlined in the Team Participation Agreement (TPA).

“Due to ongoing operational issues with the team, Bleed Esports will no longer participate in VCT Pacific to protect the best interest of the players in the league.”

All players affected by the organization’s removal, including those who were part of the roster with former Valorant star yay, were reportedly informed as soon as possible, enabling them to “explore other opportunities.”

With Bleed Esports vacating the 12th spot in VCT Pacific, Riot will promote Ascencion Pacific 2024 runners-up, Boom Esports, to fill the vacancy. This ensures the competition continues with the full roster of 12 teams as initially planned.
