The Archaeological Hunt event in Fisch presents a unique opportunity for players to embark on an engaging quest. This limited-time activity invites participants to locate and converse with Dr. Finneus, who will guide you to discover ten prehistoric fish bones necessary for unlocking a mysterious island. Below, you’ll find a comprehensive guide to successfully navigating this event.
Finding Dr. Finneus in Fish
To meet Dr. Finneus, head to the area situated between Snowcap Island and Terrapin Island. If you navigate south/southeast from Moosewood, you will eventually spot an orange and grey boat prominently marked with “Dr. Finneus” along with a timer indicating the event countdown. Please note that this event will be available for a limited period, specifically from November 23 to November 30, 2024.
If you’re having trouble locating him, you can find Dr. Finneus at the exact coordinates (1170, 132, 2456).
Once you board his boat and initiate a conversation, you will officially start the event, which requires you to catch ten prehistoric fish bones from a special bestiary. Remember that this bestiary will not be visible among your existing collections; you must interact with Dr. Finneus to access it.
