Pressure is a Roblox game that draws heavy inspiration from the iconic Doors. Each run features randomly generated rooms, so a basic walkthrough of my experience may not apply to everyone. Instead, this guide will concentrate on the creatures and challenges you will encounter during your journey.
With Pressure, you have the option to play on your phone, Xbox, or PC either alone or with a group of three friends. Your objective in the game is to navigate through multiple rooms, strategizing against a variety of monsters and solving challenging puzzles to reach the final destination safely.
Roblox Pressure Walkthrough – How to open locked doors
One of the primary obstacles you will encounter when attempting to open doors is finding them locked and requiring a card for entry. In such cases, simply search for a card within the room. Typically, there will be another room nearby and the card will be located in one of its drawers. If not, you may find the card on a table or in a drawer within the room.
Electricity
At times, the adjacent room’s entrance may be blocked by electric currents, rendering it inaccessible. In such cases, you must locate the electric circuit in order to disable the electricity and progress. Typically, the circuit can be found in a nearby room, but in some instances, an alternate route may be available through the underwater or ventilation systems. Therefore, be sure to search for these options as well.
Despite that, progressing through the rooms should not be much of a challenge. However, the main difficulty lies in the presence of monsters within these rooms. Here’s how to handle each of them.
Tips for Dealing with Pressure Monsters in Roblox
The Angler
The Angler is a genetically altered fish that zooms through rooms at incredible speeds, targeting and killing anyone it encounters. This creature is frequently encountered in Pressure and is easily one of the most prevalent monsters. Just before it strikes, you may notice the lights flicker and hear a piercing screech.
In order to protect yourself from the Angler, it is important to conceal yourself inside a locker or under an office table if a locker is not readily available in the room. The Angler comes in four different types, each with its own unique behavior.
- Despite not flickering lights, Pinky can still be detected through its loud screeches. Therefore, it is important to always be aware of your surroundings and have a plan for hiding if Pinky is nearby, as it gives you less time to react.
- Frogger: This creature is reminiscent of the regular Angler, but it has the ability to rebound and repeatedly move back and forth in the room. To avoid encountering this creature, it is best to remain hidden until it has passed and then quickly retreat back into hiding when it comes back around. However, be careful not to stay hidden for too long as it can cause anxiety. It is important to continuously hop in and out of hiding to ensure safety.
- Chain Smoker: The Chain Smoker is a slower and more dangerous Angler because it releases smoke in its path that forces you out of the locker. Since it moves slowly and gets you out of the locker, to avoid it, you have to get inside the locker as late as possible, but don’t wait for the last second as it might get you killed.
- Blitz: Lastly, Blitz is the fastest Angler, so you have to react extremely quickly. It makes a louder screeching noise than normal before coming out, which is when you should immediately get inside a locker or any other hiding spot.
Squiddles
Squiddles are creatures resembling squids, and are typically only found in dimly-lit rooms. They have a tendency to immediately attack if you shine a flashlight at them for a brief period or if you stand too close, potentially causing significant damage to your health.
To prevent encountering them, ensure to switch off the flashlight immediately upon seeing them and maintain a safe distance while navigating to the next room. In more complex rooms, there may be multiple Squiddles in one room, therefore remain vigilant while exploring.
Puddles of Void Mass
Puddles of Void Mass are creatures that are purple and black in color and have bright, glowing eyes. They reside in lockers and will swiftly end your life if you open them. To ensure your safety, be mindful of their glowing eyes and their breathing, and refrain from opening the lockers. If playing with others, they may be able to pull you to safety if they are swift enough. However, if you are playing alone, be cautious as Puddles of Void Mass will cause immediate death upon contact. Keep a vigilant eye out for their glowing eyes.
Eyefestation
During your run, you will often come across the Eyefestation, a shark-like monster that causes harm when you make eye contact with it. To prevent any injury, it is important to refrain from looking directly into its eyes. However, the creature has a tendency to draw your camera towards its gaze, requiring you to constantly adjust your angle. A useful strategy is to keep your focus on the ground as you make your way towards the exit.
Turrets
The turrets, while not technically monsters, operate in a similar manner. These guns are mounted on ceilings and are equipped with red lasers. If you are spotted, they will fire at you. To avoid being targeted, simply walk when the lasers are not obstructing your path and cautiously navigate from one location to another until you reach the next room. In some narrow areas, there may be vents that you can use to evade the turrets, so be vigilant in searching for them.
Pandemonium
The Pandemonium is reminiscent of Angler in that it initiates a mini-game when it is about to leave, while you are hiding in the locker. During the mini-game, your objective is to keep your camera centered while the Pandemonium attempts to pull it away. The mini-game lasts approximately 40 seconds, and failure to win will result in your death. It is important to stay alert and continuously move your camera to succeed in the mini-game.
Wall Dwellers
The Wall Dwellers are among the most irritating creatures in the game, as they creepily trail behind you from crevices in the doors and walls. The only effective method of warding them off is to directly face them; this will repel them. If they continue to persist, simply look at them again, and they will retreat. It is highly recommended to frequently check behind you to ensure your safety from these creatures.
Duo
The Good Duo comprises a pair of monsters that collaborate in their attacks. One is a computer that generates false door signals, while the other is a terrifying creature that inflicts harm when a door is opened. In order to evade their attacks, one must listen carefully for any sounds emanating from behind the doors. If the sound of breathing or screeching can be heard, it is a sign that one of the Good Duo is lurking.
If this situation arises, continue to thoroughly search your current room for a different path to continue on. Furthermore, the false door indicator will even be visible in low light, meaning that if you come across a door number illuminating in the darkness, it is the correct one.
How to get out of the Warehouse and avoid Volus Lunara – Search Lights in Roblox Pressure
As you progress through the game, you will encounter a warehouse, a vast space beyond room 80. Inside, you will confront the Volus Lunara, also known as the Search Lights. This colossal creature is equipped with searchlights to surveil the surroundings. Your objective is to locate and restore the functionality of the generators in the warehouse while remaining undetected.
There will be designated areas for concealment, such as lockers or containers, so utilize them to fix the generator in a similar manner to DBD. If you are unfamiliar with the process, simply tap when the indicator aligns with the highlighted area of the circle to expedite the progress. Once all generators have been repaired, the door on the opposite side of your entry point will unlock, allowing you to continue forward.
How to Get Out of the Trench (Room 115) and Complete Roblox Pressure
Once you have retrieved the crystal, you will proceed to the final room called the Trench. This area functions similarly to the Warehouse, except that you will be underwater repairing cables while being pursued by Volus Lunara. Safe areas marked by green lights will provide cover as you move to repair other cables. With each repair, the number of Volus Lunara will increase to three, making the final few repairs extremely difficult.
After repairing the necessary cables, you will need to proceed to the Canon located in the center of the Trench. Once there, you must pull the lever down to activate the canon. Nearby, there will be some caves that you can use to return to your starting point. Pull the highlighted lever before following the announcer to enter the submarine and finish Roblox Pressure.
