In the realm of Sorcery, players can utilize a wide range of Cursed Techniques to combat their foes. However, not all techniques merit unlocking. To assist you in making informed choices, I’ve developed a comprehensive tier list ranking the Sorcery Cursed Techniques from best to worst.
Roblox Sorcery Cursed Techniques Tier List
As per the game’s Trello board, Roblox Sorcery features a total of 11 Cursed Techniques. Below is a brief overview of their rankings:
- S-Tier: Limitless, Shrine, Golden Ratio
- A-Tier: Mythical Beast Amber, Blood Manipulation, Idle Transfiguration, Disaster Flames
- B-Tier: Mimicry, Cursed Speech
- C-Tier: Boogie Woogie, Projection Sorcery
S-Tier
- Limitless: Arguably the most powerful Cursed Technique in Sorcery, Limitless provides a range of adaptive moves suitable for any predicament. One of its standout abilities, Infinite Crusher, allows users to stylishly finish off low-health targets. Additionally, its Infinity skill provides invincibility frames, vital for dodging significant attacks.
- Shrine: As Sukuna’s technique, Shrine boasts the highest variety of moves in the game, making it both versatile and spam-friendly. From my experience, it offers incredible damage, and with five fingers, it grants an extra move called Flame Arrow, integrating fire damage into your attacks.
- Golden Ratio: This technique, inspired by Nanami, excels in close-range confrontations, featuring various combo-extending moves that inflict substantial damage. While it may lack the visual appeal of some other techniques, its effectiveness in close quarters secures its S-tier status.
A-Tier
- Mythical Beast Amber: Focusing on explosive moves, this technique deals significant damage to opponents, allowing for safe long-range engagements. The Volt Blast ability is particularly recommended for its high damage output, ensuring you maintain an advantage in both ranged and close combat situations.
- Blood Manipulation: Known for strong damage and range, Blood Manipulation is capable of defeating foes with moves like Piercing Exorcism, which unleashes a powerful blood beam. Although its skills can be countered by S-Tier techniques, its robust moveset firmly places it in A-tier.
- Idle Transfiguration: Although Mahito’s technique is straightforward, it falls short regarding overall power and effectiveness. Its ranged move, Body Repel, does distinguish it from many close-range options, yet its damage and utility do not impress. After extended use, I found it underwhelming compared to S-Tier techniques.
- Disaster Flames: Jogo’s Disaster Flames feature four strong moves capable of delivering hefty damage over a reasonable distance. While the technique can be predictable due to its slower attack speed, effective use can easily overpower adversaries. Though it might lack flashy combos, its damage capacity earns it a place in A-tier.
B-Tier
- Mimicry: This Cursed Technique is fraught with risks. Its primary ability allows the user to replicate other sorcerers’ techniques randomly, making it difficult to leverage effectively in combat. Often, it may not provide the necessary strength to control the fight.
- Cursed Speech: I recommend steering clear of Cursed Speech as its moves are highly predictable. For instance, the ability Stop Moving involves the character yelling the phrase, which alerts enemies before stunning them. Unfortunately, the character still moves slowly afterward, making it less effective in skirmishes.
C-Tier
- Boogie Woogie: This technique is best avoided due to its lackluster skills. It offers a single move that allows you to teleport behind opponents, but its damage output is disappointingly low. While future updates may boost its abilities, it currently lands in C-tier.
- Projection Sorcery: Like Boogie Woogie, Projection Sorcery features a single move that encircles and freezes the target. While useful at lower levels, this technique is inadequate against competent opponents.
How to Reroll Cursed Techniques in Sorcery
Before embarking on the reroll process, ensure you’ve unlocked the Cursed Technique feature. You can do this by completing the tricky parkour challenge in the Dream World, which requires you to reach at least level 55.
Once completed, approach the Mahito NPC in the Spawn Area within Sorcery. His location is marked in the image above for your convenience. The NPC provides three options:
- I want to change the color of my cursed
- I want to wipe my character
- I’d like to reroll my Cursed Technique.
At this juncture, opt for the third choice and request Mahito to reroll your technique. Note that each reroll costs 10 tickets, obtainable by spending Robux. Here’s the cost breakdown:
- 10 Cursed Tickets: 50 Robux
- 20 Cursed Tickets: 100 Robux
- 50 Cursed Tickets: 250 Robux
After using your Cursed Tickets, Mahito will present various new techniques for you to choose from. Ultimately, select the technique that seems the most powerful to you.
