With a time limit of 90 minutes, success in this chapter demands a blend of quick thinking, mathematical prowess, and unwavering patience. Are you ready to tackle Chapter 2 and race against the clock?
1. Overview of Roblox Terminal Escape Room Chapter 2
To enter Chapter 2, navigate to the vibrant red neon-lit section of the station. You have the option to tackle the thrilling challenges solo or collaborate with up to four teammates. This chapter seamlessly continues from where the first left off, placing you just outside the train. Your mission encompasses navigating four distinct rooms, each presenting its own tasks designed to uncover essential codes for your escape.
i. Strategies for Solving Puzzles in the Station Area
Your primary goal involves locating a screwdriver. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
- Cross the train tracks to the other side and inspect the poster for hints about the screwdriver’s location.
- Retrace your steps back to the starting point and move past the lantern stand, ensuring the poster remains on your right.
- Continue your journey until you locate the screwdriver, cleverly hidden between posters featuring pink flowers and soup. Use your flashlight to aid in your search.
- After acquiring the screwdriver, approach the train from the direction of the lantern to discover the metal panel.
- Utilize the screwdriver to unscrew all four screws and reveal the colorful wires.
Next, you’ll need to find scissors to cut the wires. Follow these instructions:
- Cross back over the tracks to reach the area with smaller posters.
- Look for the warning poster indicating not to leave sharp objects on the tracks.
- As you keep the posters on your right, walk directly ahead until you arrive at the tracks.
- You will find the scissors lying there.
Now that you’ve secured the scissors, cut all wires at your discretion. After this step, it is imperative to reconnect them correctly:
- Go back to the original poster area and spot the ‘Standardized Electrical Rewiring Protocol’ poster next to the ‘Listerez Elections’ poster.
- Follow the specified wire order provided on the poster to reconnect them: Purple, Brown, Red, Green, Black, Orange, White, Pink, Yellow, and Blue.
Restoring power to the electrical box will activate a number pad. Here, you will need to input a correct four-digit code.
- Climb onto the train and survey the area containing the number pad. The blinking lights will offer clues regarding the code.
- Clue 1: The Dragon Dimension movie poster depicts it as the second movie, indicating the first digit is 2.
- Clue 2: The sign’s flashing letters spell out NINETEEN, suggesting the second and third digits are 1 and 9 respectively.
- Clue 3: The ‘Sun Always Rises’ poster references Third Avenue, leading to the last digit being 3.
By combining these clues, you will determine the correct code: 2193. Enter this code into the number pad to unlock the concealed corridor ahead.
ii. Guide for Puzzles in the Maintenance Room
To successfully navigate the Maintenance Room, you must accomplish four tasks listed on the nearby computer:
- Take Out Trash
- Find Two Pipes & Fix Plumbing
- Track Anita’s Location Yesterday
- Count Sticky Notes (Dozen)
Each completed task will unveil a single digit. Once all tasks are finished, combine the digits to form a code for the numpad located next to the circular floor cover.
First Task: Take Out Trash
- Seek out the sticky note near the numpad that instructs, “Sweep Up The Broken Tile” .
- Examine the broken tile on the floor for an adjacent sticky note, which contains a math formula: (Four x MOON) – (Two x SUN).
- Review the framed pictures to the left of the bookshelf; you will discover sticky notes detailing numbers: 4 for the Moon and 7 for the Sun.
- Using these insights, apply the math formula: (4 x 4) – (2 x 7) = 16 – 14 = 2.
The first digit of the code is 2.Second Task: Find Two Pipes & Fix Plumbing
- Retrieve the T-shaped pipe from the roof of the train.
- Get the L-shaped pipe found on the park poster situated two posters left of the Dragon poster.
- Incorporate the pipes into the puzzle to the left of the task computer and click ‘Fix’.
- You won’t connect all pipes completely but focus on linking the top-right pipe to the bottom-left pipe resembling the number five.
The second digit of the code is 5.Third Task: Track Anita’s Location Yesterday
- Utilize the sticky note group to the left of the Sun and Moon posters to reconstruct Anita’s location.
- Gather information from the sticky notes around the room, revealing Anita’s journey:
- Departed her residence at 1534 Archer Ln.
- Worked at the bakery where Janice is employed.
- Dined at Vic’s Diner, served by Lydia.
- Met Sam at Pete’s Arcade.
- Visited Elderglade Park.
- Concluded her journey at West Leisterez Terminal.
- Connecting these points on the sticky note map will outline a shape that resembles the number six.
The third digit of the code is 6.
- The task will require you to count all sticky notes scattered throughout the room.
- For convenience, you will notice there are a total of 84 sticky notes.
- As per the task’s requirement, compute the count in dozens: 84 divided by 12 equals 7 dozen.
The fourth digit of the code is 7.
By combining all the digits revealed from each task, you derive the final code: 2567. Input this code into the numpad on the floor to unlock the circular cover and gain entry to the next room.
iii. Puzzles in the TV Room
To begin in this complex maze, your first task is to locate and retrieve the TV controller, then solve the associated puzzle to discover the code required to exit.
Finding the Controller
- Proceed directly from the entrance.
- Turn left and advance to the end of the corridor.
- Make a right turn; when the path splits, turn right again.
- Continue along this pathway to discover the remote control.
Locating the Five Ciphers
- Cipher 1: Hidden behind the wall at the maze entrance.
- Cipher 2: Found beneath the air conditioner in the maintenance room.
- Cipher 3: Located on the dragon poster next to the train.
- Cipher 4: Once in the maze, take a right, follow the path, and then turn left when it splits to find it on the left wall.
- Cipher 5: From the fourth cipher, move through the left wall, follow the path, and right at the split to find the last cipher on the wall in the screen-filled room.
Solving the Four-Digit Code
- Utilize the remote control to pause the TV screen displaying information in the top-left corner of the numpad.
- This action will expose the correct sequence of grid screens needed for the code.
- Focus on the middle TV stack, noting the colors and labels on the screens.
- Fill in the corresponding colored grids in the room as per the TV screens.
- Once completed, analyze the shapes in each grid, which will correspond to specific numbers:
- Red Grid: Screen Two (2)
- Blue Grid: Screen Six (6)
- Green Grid: Screen Seven (7)
- Yellow Grid: Screen Eight (8)
The validated code is 2678. Enter this code into the numpad to unlock the adjacent door.
iv. Challenges in the Cipher Room
To escape the final room, start by positioning the collected ciphers onto the wooden board on the wall, then proceed with the following steps:
- Read the papers to decipher the message on the wall opposite, beginning with the clues marked “To Check.”
- Substitute the letters to reveal the necessary checks: 23 TVs, 30 pipes, and 7 beginner guides.
- Use the room’s clues for the following math calculations: Math Formula Solution = 45 + (23 × 5) + (30 × 100) + (7 × 46) = 45 + 115 + 3000 + 322 = 3482
Input the code 3482 into the numpad adjacent to the elevator and press the green button to complete this chapter.
Congratulations! You’ve skillfully navigated through the challenges of Terminal Escape Room Chapter 2 and unlocked the next exciting stage.
Stay tuned for Chapter 3, and happy puzzle-solving!
