Rockstar Developer Responds to Criticism from GTA 6 Fans Over Trailer Mistakes

A member of the Rockstar Games development team responded to criticism from GTA 6 fans who claimed to have found errors in the game’s initial trailer, causing some to change their opinions.

Grand Theft Auto enthusiasts have been eagerly awaiting any news on GTA 6 and have been pleading with Rockstar Games for information for a considerable amount of time.

Despite breaking their silence in December and releasing the first trailer for the next GTA installment, Rockstar has once again remained tight-lipped about the game’s development. Although Take-Two, the publishers of Rockstar, have confirmed its 2025 release, fans are becoming more restless as they eagerly await more information.

Despite the lack of any other official insight into Grand Theft Auto 6, many have watched the trailer countless times in search of clues and hidden details. In fact, some have even revisited the trailer over 100 times, uncovering new information with each viewing and attempting to piece together the potential storyline.

Despite this, there are some who have meticulously examined the video in search of any potential “errors”and attempted to expose Rockstar’s flaws. On Twitter and other social media platforms, one account even shared a thread of these minor slip-ups, which included subpar character designs and environment damage.

Zara Naveed, Associate Games Systems Engineer at Rockstar North, was drawn to the thread, which had amassed over 33 million views.

“Naveed sarcastically clapped back, to the amusement of some fans, at the breaking news that the video game is, in fact, a video game.”

One person exclaimed, “That’s hilarious! He’s totally cooked!”Another chimed in, “The grass definitely needs to be fixed.”Someone else shared their thoughts, saying, “It’s pretty ridiculous to be combing through a game trailer for problems like this. What a waste of time.”

Naturally, fans inquired about when they could expect a second trailer to be released by the Rockstar development team. However, true to their classic style, Rockstar remained tight-lipped and provided no answers on the matter.

There have been speculations that the release of the second trailer will coincide with Sony’s announcement of the PS5 Pro. However, we will have to wait and see if this turns out to be true.
