
In a recent podcast episode, a former developer from Rockstar Games inadvertently disclosed sensitive information about GTA 6, leading the company to take legal action.
As anticipation grows for the game’s Fall 2025 release, fans are eagerly awaiting additional details, particularly since the first trailer was unveiled in December 2023.
Numerous former Rockstar employees have recently come forward to share their experiences, including those who contributed to the highly-anticipated GTA VI.
One individual, Mike York, an animator who previously discussed GTA 6, appeared on the YouTube podcast Kiwi Talkz on January 29. Unfortunately for him, his revelations were deemed excessively revealing.
Consequences of Revealing GTA 6 Information
During the aforementioned podcast, which has since been made private, Mike York indicated that GTA 6 might only operate at 30 FPS on console platforms. This comment sparked significant interest among gaming communities.
Furthermore, he broached the topic of potential crunch time for developers involved in the game, even amidst ongoing scrutiny following the extensive overtime faced during the development of Red Dead Redemption 2.
