Some insiders from Rockstar Games have announced that the next trailer for GTA 6 is in the works and have provided an update on when fans can anticipate the release of more content from Vice City.
Since its release in December of 2023, the first GTA 6 trailer has broken records with millions of views. However, there has been no new content released since then.
Despite Take-Two Interactive announcing a release window of Fall 2025 during an earnings call, fans are still eagerly anticipating any new information about the game and the next trailer.
According to a now-deleted tweet from ‘billsyliamgta,’ an insider who previously had information about the first trailer, it seems that fans won’t have to wait much longer. The tweet stated that Rockstar is currently preparing the second trailer, which was confirmed by a source last year.
“He added that individuals within the community who are well-informed have shared a similar account.”

The individual eventually removed the tweet and posted a revised version, stating, “I have the information, but I always struggle with typing properly lmfao. Anyways, we can expect one of the longest periods without a new Rockstar Games release. Here’s the repost of the GTA VI trailer 2,”accompanied by an eyes emoji.
According to fellow insider and YouTuber LegacyKillaHD who retweeted the original tweet, a new GTA 6 trailer will be released before the end of the year. The trailer is expected to focus on Jason and possibly reveal a release date, although it is likely that the game will still be released in Fall 2025.

Although we should approach these comments with skepticism until Rockstar officially makes an announcement, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick hinted that more information about GTA 6 will be revealed in the fall.
During an interview with Variety, Zelnick was questioned about the possibility of revealing the official release date for GTA 6 during the fall 2024 earnings call, to which he replied, “We will have to wait and see.”
Based on the current launch window, it would be logical to release a new trailer for GTA 6 as its release date draws closer. At the moment, it seems that Fall 2024 is the most likely time for the second trailer to be revealed, considering the information currently available.
