Rockstar Job Posting Hints at Upcoming GTA 6 News After Long Wait

A recent job listing from Rockstar Games could provide an exciting update for fans eagerly anticipating GTA 6, which is set to release in 2025.

Since the debut of the first GTA 6 trailer in December 2023, there has been a growing curiosity among fans regarding when Rockstar will release further details about the game.

Throughout this period, Rockstar has maintained a low profile, with Take-Two Interactive confirming a narrowed release window of Fall 2025 amidst speculation of potential delays.

As we approach the one-year mark since the initial trailer, there have been no new visuals or screenshots released by Rockstar; however, this might change soon.

Recently discovered by Reddit users, Rockstar Dundee is actively hiring a Screenshot Capture Artist. The job description hints that new GTA 6 news may be imminent.

The job listing states that the responsibilities include capturing still footage of gameplay for marketing campaigns and in-game use, akin to digital street photography within a 3D game environment. Furthermore, candidates are expected to “create stylized images within game engines that capture the project’s vibe” and be adept at mastering new and unfinished games rapidly.

Fans are particularly hopeful for in-game screenshots, especially since the initial trailer lacked actual gameplay visuals.

GTA 6 is anticipated for Fall 2025.

As marketing efforts for GTA 6 are expected to intensify, this job listing serves as a positive sign that new screenshots, more game information, and perhaps even a new trailer could be on the horizon.

Back in 2022, players got an early glimpse of Vice City and new mechanics through leaked in-development videos by a Rockstar Games hacker, but much has likely changed since then.

This discovery comes just weeks after another job listing emerged for game testers, indicating that GTA 6 might be nearing the end of its development phase, which counters rumors of potential delays.
